Deep Stack Poker — River Cree (1st & 3rd Saturday)
17 Oct 2026 · River Cree Resort & Casino, Alberta
River Cree's recurring deep-stack event runs on the first and third Saturday of each month at 3:30 pm, No-Limit Hold'em, billed by the casino as open to all levels. The buy-in is $350 with a $35 administration fee on top, players start with 25,000 chips and levels are 30 minutes, which is a genuinely deep structure for a monthly local event — roughly 71 starting big blinds if the opening level is 100/200. Late registration and re-entry stay open until the end of the second break. Minimum age is 18, which is the Alberta standard and lower than the 19 that applies in most other Canadian provinces. The next date after 3 October 2026 is Saturday 17 October; the casino asks players to call the poker room on 780-930-2707 to confirm details.
