Golden Horse Casino is Tsogo Sun's Pietermaritzburg property, on New England Road in Scottsville. It keeps long hours - and goes to 24-hour trading at weekends.

Hours

The operator gives 08:00 to 04:00 from Sunday to Thursday, and 24 hours on Friday and Saturday.

Tables and private play

The casino advertises a salon prive for high-stakes private gaming, described as a personalised and exclusive room rather than a separate game offer. The public gaming page does not itemise which table games are dealt, which is unusual among the group's properties and means the specific mix should be confirmed with the casino before a trip.

Poker

Nothing on the operator's gaming page describes poker cash games or a tournament schedule at Golden Horse. That is not the same as a confirmed no - the page simply does not list its table games - so treat the poker offer here as unverified. KwaZulu-Natal's advertised poker activity centres on Durban.
