Poland's top poker players — the all-time money list

Poland's live tournament record is steeper at the top than almost any comparable market. Wiktor Malinowski's $13,853,907 is close to double the total of Dzmitry Urbanovich in second, and the two of them together have won more than the next eight players combined. Below them the list settles into a long, flat tail: twenty players have passed $1m, and the twenty-first is $2,294 short of it.

Who leads, and by how much

The order at the top, with totals read from The Hendon Mob's Poland all-time money list on 2 October 2026:

1. Wiktor Malinowski — $13,853,907 2. Dzmitry Urbanovich — $7,935,709 3. Dominik Panka — $4,541,365 4. Jakub Michalak — $3,198,685 5. Sebastian Malec — $3,008,996 6. Bartlomiej Machon — $2,562,858 7. Dawid Viktor Smolka — $2,006,517 8. Tomasz Brzezinski — $1,799,510 9. Marcin Horecki — $1,619,716 10. Grzegorz Kozieja — $1,581,144

Eleventh to twentieth runs Piotr Nurzynski ($1,454,225), Monika Hrabec ($1,441,056), Tomasz Gluszko ($1,419,800), Tomasz Kozub ($1,400,103), Jaroslaw Sikora ($1,255,648), Jose Carlos Garcia ($1,183,076), Mariusz Golinski ($1,130,459), Grzegorz Wyraz ($1,109,120), Adrian Ziemichod ($1,065,222) and Mikolaj Zawadzki ($1,043,803).

Most of the top twenty do not live in Poland

The pattern is hard to miss once the residences are read off the individual profiles. Jakub Michalak, Dawid Viktor Smolka, Grzegorz Kozieja and Monika Hrabec are all listed as living in Vienna. Tomasz Brzezinski is in Malta. Others — Piotr Nurzynski, Tomasz Gluszko in Plewiska near Poznan, and the Warsaw group around Marcin Horecki, Sebastian Malec and Dzmitry Urbanovich — are recorded as resident in Poland itself.

That is the same migration visible in several central European markets: the online game drew players to jurisdictions where they could play it, and the live results kept being filed under the passport rather than the address.

The shape of a career, read from one number

The gap between a player's lifetime total and their single biggest cash says more about their record than the ranking does.

Piotr Nurzynski is the extreme case: $1,207,892 of his $1,454,225 came from one result, roughly 83%. His best-ever position on the global all-time list was 1,427th and he now sits 2,403rd — not because he lost anything, but because the field kept climbing past a total he has not added much to.

Tomasz Gluszko is the opposite. His biggest cash is $140,139, under a tenth of his $1,419,800, which means the ranking was assembled from a long run of moderate finishes rather than a headline score. Monika Hrabec sits between the two, with a $771,000 best cash against $1,441,056 in total.

Monika Hrabec at twelfth

Hrabec is 12th on Poland's open all-time money list — twelfth among everyone, not twelfth among women. On the figures we read she is the highest-placed Polish woman on the list by a clear margin, and her $771,000 best cash is larger than the best cash of the player directly above her.

Where these figures come from

Every total on this page was read from The Hendon Mob — the Poland all-time money list for the ranking and earnings, and individual player profiles for best cashes, residences and ranking histories. Figures are as at 2 October 2026 and move whenever a Polish player cashes. Where the money list and a player's own profile disagreed, as they did for Tomasz Gluszko by about $3,300, we published the profile figure and said so on the player's page.

Entries for ranks 14 to 20 are currently built from the money list alone, so they carry earnings and rank but no best cash or residence yet.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Poland's all-time live tournament money leader?

Wiktor Malinowski, with $13,853,907 as of 2 October 2026 — nearly double the $7,935,709 of Dzmitry Urbanovich in second place.

How many Polish players have won more than $1m live?

Twenty. Mikolaj Zawadzki is the last of them on $1,043,803; twenty-first place stands at $997,706.

Who is the highest-ranked Polish woman?

Monika Hrabec, 12th on the open all-time money list with $1,441,056 — a placing in the overall ranking, not a separate women's one.

Why do so many Polish players live in Vienna?

Several of the top twenty — Michalak, Smolka, Kozieja and Hrabec among them — are listed as resident in Vienna. The Hendon Mob files results under a player's nationality, so a Polish flag on the list does not mean a Polish address.

How current are these earnings figures?

They were read from The Hendon Mob on 2 October 2026 and change whenever a Polish player cashes in a live event. Treat them as a snapshot of that date.
