Tomasz Brzezinski
Malta, Poland
Eighth on Poland's all-time money list with $1,799,510, and one of the Polish names whose live record is concentrated rather than spread thin: a single best cash of $741,557 accounts for roughly four tenths of everything he has won.
He holds Polish nationality but lives in Malta, which puts him in the same bracket as the several Polish regulars who moved abroad for the online game and kept playing live from there.
His global position is 1,863rd on the all-time money list, barely below his best-ever rank of 1,848th — the mark of a player whose results are still roughly keeping pace with the field rather than sliding down it. The Global Poker Index had him 279th when we read the page, which is a far better placing than his lifetime total alone would suggest and points to recent activity.
