Fukuoka is the newest city on Japan's tour calendar, and 2027 brings its second festival to the same Daimyo venue.

The tour's newest city
JOPT's first Fukuoka stop ran from 30 July to 2 August 2026 at this venue. A second edition nine months later, moved to late spring, suggests the first worked — and it gives Kyushu-based players a festival without a flight to Tokyo or Osaka.
Where it sits in the season
The 2027 calendar as published runs Tokyo over the new year, Sapporo in late January, Osaka from 18 to 22 March and Fukuoka in late May. The Grand Final has historically fallen between late April and early May, so the Fukuoka date may land shortly after it.
