Progressiv Knockout-Challenge — MERKUR Spielbank Hannover (first Sunday monthly)
1 Nov – 31 Dec 2026 · MERKUR Spielbank Hannover, Germany
On the first Sunday of each month Hannover replaces its usual Sunday tournament with a progressive knockout, starting at 17:00. The house publishes the price as €165, broken down as €110 to the prize pool, a €40 bounty and €15 Taxe, with one re-entry.
Progressive is the word that matters. In a standard bounty event you collect a fixed sum for each player you eliminate; in a progressive format part of the bounty you win is added to your own head, so late survivors carry steadily larger prices. It rewards accumulating chips early rather than waiting, and it changes correct play near the money compared with a flat bounty.
The remaining Sundays of the month run the cheaper Ninety Nine instead, also at 17:00. A Hold'em cash game follows the Sunday tournament. Lower Saxony requires a minimum age of 21.
