YaPoker in Colombia — who you are signing up with, and what the regulator says
Before anything else: YaPoker does not appear on Coljuegos' register of online operators authorised to serve Colombia. We would rather say that plainly at the top of the page than bury it, and the rest of this page explains what the company's own documents do and do not establish.

Is online poker legal in Colombia?
Colombia licenses online gambling rather than banning it, and Coljuegos — the state body that administers the gambling monopoly — publishes the register of who holds an authorisation. Its wording is direct: a person of legal age living in Colombia may register on any page authorised by Coljuegos. Each authorisation goes to a Colombian-registered company for one named website.
As the register stood on 13 October 2026 it listed fourteen operators, all general sportsbook-and-casino brands. YaPoker is not among them, under that or any other corporate name we could match.
That tells you about the operator's licensing position, not about a player's. Colombian law puts obligations on operators, and we are not in a position to tell you what, if anything, follows for an individual who plays on an unauthorised site — that is a question for a Colombian lawyer. This page is general information, not legal advice.
Who you are signing up with
YaPoker's own End User License Agreement, read on 18 October 2026, says the licence to play its games is governed under the laws of Curacao, with the sublicence granted thereunder to International Processing Services S.A. The agreement's governing-law clause names the laws of Costa Rica and gives the courts of Costa Rica exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. Payment processing for deposits and cash-outs is governed by the law applicable to Yatahay Limited as payment services provider.
Two things worth noticing in that paragraph. First, the licensing jurisdiction (Curacao) and the governing law (Costa Rica) are different places, and the company whose courts would hear your dispute is not the one whose regulator issued the licence. Second, the terms name the sublicensee as International Processing Services S.A. in one clause and International Processor Services, S.A. in another — the operator's own document is inconsistent about the name of the entity you are contracting around. We report that rather than smoothing it over.
No licence number is stated on the page we read.
Who may play
The terms prohibit use by anyone under 18, anyone under the legal age of majority in their own jurisdiction, and anyone connecting from a jurisdiction where such use is prohibited or where it would be illegal for the operator to offer the service. Colombia is not named anywhere in the terms, in either direction — there is no restricted-territory list on that page that includes it, and no statement that Colombia is served.
The practical effect is that the operator pushes the geographic question back onto the player. That is a common structure and worth understanding before you deposit.
What this means if you are in Colombia
There is a licensed route and an unlicensed one, and they are not the same thing. If what matters to you is playing on a site the Colombian regulator has authorised, the register is the list, and no dedicated poker room is on it — the authorised operators are casino and sportsbook brands. If you play elsewhere, you are relying on an offshore licence, offshore governing law, and a dispute process that runs through courts in Costa Rica.
We would rather give you that picture than a bonus headline.
Bonuses and what they actually release
Where a welcome offer is advertised anywhere on this site, the same caveat applies: offers of this kind release in stages as rake is generated, and the released amount is what can actually be withdrawn. The headline number is the ceiling, not the payment.
Playing responsibly
Poker is entertainment and a game of skill played for stakes. It is not an income, not a way out of debt and not a route to a different life. Decide what you are willing to lose before you sit down, and stop there.

Frequently asked questions
Is YaPoker licensed in Colombia?
No. YaPoker does not appear on Coljuegos' register of authorised online operators, which listed fourteen Colombian-registered licensees as of 13 October 2026.
Who operates YaPoker?
Its terms say the licence to play is governed under the laws of Curacao with the sublicence granted to International Processing Services S.A. — named inconsistently as International Processor Services, S.A. elsewhere in the same document. Governing law is Costa Rica, and payments run through Yatahay Limited.
Does YaPoker block Colombian players?
The terms do not name Colombia in either direction. They prohibit use from any jurisdiction where such use is prohibited, which leaves the question with the player rather than answering it.
What is the minimum age?
Eighteen, or the legal age of majority where the player lives if that is higher. In Colombia it is 18.
