CoinPoker in Colombia — the operator, the licence, and the regulator's list

Two facts set the frame for this page, and they point in different directions. CoinPoker's own terms do not restrict Colombia — the country appears nowhere in its prohibited-territory list. But CoinPoker is also not on Coljuegos' register of operators authorised to serve Colombia. Both are true, and the rest of this page explains why that combination is the normal shape of things here.

Is online poker legal in Colombia?

Colombia licenses online gambling rather than prohibiting it. Coljuegos, the state body administering the gambling monopoly, publishes a register of authorised online operators; each authorisation goes to a Colombian-registered company for one named website, and the regulator's own guidance is that an adult resident in Colombia may register on any page it has authorised.

As of 13 October 2026 the register listed fourteen operators — Wplay.co, Betplay.com.co, Betsson.co, Zamba.co, Codere.com.co, Luckia.co, Sportium.com.co, Rushbet.co, rivalo.co, Yajuego.co, Bwin, Stake, Betano and mryoker.co. All are general casino and sportsbook brands. CoinPoker is not among them.

Who you are signing up with

CoinPoker's terms and conditions, read on 18 October 2026, name the operating company as Precise Interactive Inc., incorporated under the laws of Panama. The gambling licence is stated as issued by the Anjouan gaming licensing authority. No registered address and no licence number appear in the document we read — a gap worth knowing about, because a licence you cannot look up by number is a licence you are taking on trust.

Anjouan, an island in the Comoros, operates a licensing regime that is considerably lighter than the European ones. That is a factual statement about where the licence comes from, not a verdict on the operator, but it is the sort of thing a player ought to weigh for themselves when deciding where to keep a balance.

Where CoinPoker does not accept players

Clause 3.1(m) of the terms lists the restricted territories. As read on 18 October 2026 they include Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, China, Comoros, Cuba, Eritrea, Estonia, Germany, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Lithuania, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, the UAE, the United Kingdom, the United States and its dependencies, military bases and territories, the Virgin Islands, the Netherlands and Yemen — together with any country sanctioned by the UN Security Council or OFAC.

Colombia is not on that list. The same clause, however, extends to such other countries as the company may determine from time to time, so the list is a snapshot of the operator's position rather than a commitment. We re-read it quarterly.

Who may play

The terms require players to be at least 18, or older where the law of their own jurisdiction sets a higher minimum. Colombia's age of majority is 18, so 18 is the figure that applies here.

What this means if you are in Colombia

The honest summary: CoinPoker will take a Colombian player, and the Colombian regulator has not authorised it. If playing on a Coljuegos-authorised site is what matters to you, the register is the list and no dedicated poker room is on it — the authorised brands are casino and sportsbook operators. If you play on CoinPoker, you are relying on a Panamanian company under an Anjouan licence, with no licence number published in its own terms.

That is the trade, stated plainly. We would rather you knew it than discovered it.
