Ovalle Casino & Resort is the busiest live poker address in Chile's Norte Chico and, as of late September 2026, the only Chilean venue with a tournament actually running. It stands at the northern entrance to Ovalle, in the Limarí valley of the Coquimbo Region, and is built as a resort rather than a gaming hall: the complex takes its design cues from Diaguita culture, and includes an open-air amphitheatre, a cactus museum and the attached Keo Hotel with a spa.
The gaming floor holds 13 casino tables and more than 230 slot machines. Poker is played in the Huamalata events hall, which is where the house runs its own festival, the Ovalle Series of Poker (OSOP) — a series the venue created to build a competitive circuit outside Santiago. Entry to any OSOP event requires free registration as an OCR Club member at the casino itself, so travelling players should allow time for that before the first level.
