YaPoker in Argentina: no country list in the terms, and a 10% rake rule before any withdra
Argentina is the hardest market in the Americas to write an operator page for honestly, because there is no national licence to check against — twenty-four jurisdictions license their own online gaming, and an operator licensed in one is not licensed in the next. So the only place to start is the operator's own document.
We read YaPoker's end-user licence agreement in full from the operator's own page on 14 October 2026. It names no restricted countries, no permitted countries and no gaming regulator. It does contain a withdrawal condition that every Argentine reader should see before depositing: clause 6.1.2 requires cumulative poker rake equal to at least ten per cent of cumulative deposits before a withdrawal is authorised.
Poker is a game of skill played for entertainment. This page is general information, not legal advice.
Ya Poker
Ya Poker is the Spanish- and Portuguese-language skin of the Winning Poker Network, sharing tables with Americas Cardroom.

The withdrawal condition, in the operator's own words
Clause 6.1 is headed PRIMARY PRODUCT MANDATE AND MANDATORY POKER RAKE REQUIREMENT.
Clause 6.1.2 states that to be eligible to request a withdrawal of any funds — initial deposit balances, sportsbook winnings, casino payouts or horse racing returns — all account holders, regardless of their primary gaming preference, must generate cumulative poker rake, or paid tournament entry fees, equal to at least ten per cent of the total value of their cumulative deposits before withdrawal authorisation will be granted.
Clause 6.1.3 states that wagering in the sportsbook, casino or racebook does not count toward, reduce or substitute for that requirement, whatever the volume, because those wagers generate no poker rake. Clause 6.1.4 says accounts used exclusively or predominantly for sports betting, casino games or horse racing will have withdrawal requests withheld until the requirement is met, and reserves the network's right to close accounts attempting to satisfy it by collusion, chip-dumping or artificial rake generation.
The practical reading: money paid in is not freely withdrawable on arrival. It is disclosed in the terms rather than hidden, and in a market with currency controls and awkward peso conversion it is a more useful number than any welcome offer.
Who YaPoker is — and what the terms do not name
Clause 6.1.1 names the Winning Poker Network and lists its rooms: Ya Poker, ACR Poker, Black Chip Poker, Americas Cardroom and TruePoker. The network is described as operating primarily as a peer-to-peer poker platform, with the sportsbook, casino and racebook as ancillary products for active poker players. YaPoker is therefore a skin on a shared pool rather than a standalone room, which is the main reason it reaches a market with no domestic online poker liquidity.
Beyond that the document is sparse. It says the games are owned and operated by "Ya Poker", that the licence to play them is governed under the laws of Curacao, that a sublicence is granted thereunder to International Processing Services S.A., and that payment processing for deposits and cash-outs is governed by the laws applicable to Yatahay, Limited as the payments services provider. There is no company registration number, no registered address, no named gaming authority and no licence number — we searched for each.
No country list, in either direction
We looked for a restricted-territory clause, a prohibited-country list and for Argentina by name. None of the three is in the agreement, and the only jurisdiction named anywhere in it is Curacao.
Instead the agreement puts the obligation on the player: you are prohibited from using the website or the software if you are under 18, if you are below the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, or if you are connecting from a jurisdiction from which such use is prohibited or from which it would be illegal for the operator to offer the software. Clause 3.2 adds that no licence is granted to any user located in a jurisdiction where the offer or the use would violate applicable law.
The operator has not excluded Argentina. It has also declined to say Argentina is fine. That is the honest summary, and it is the operator's choice rather than ours.
Why that matters more in Argentina than almost anywhere
As our Argentina page sets out, gambling was never federalised. Each province and the City of Buenos Aires regulate their own, roughly fifteen jurisdictions now license online gaming in some form, and the two most developed authorities are LOTBA in the City of Buenos Aires and IPLyC in Buenos Aires Province.
The consequence for a page like this one is specific: "is YaPoker licensed in Argentina" has no single answer, because there is no Argentine licence — only provincial ones. YaPoker's own terms name no provincial licence of any kind. And the provincial regimes are enforced rather than nominal: LOTBA has acted against unlicensed sites and against influencers promoting them.
So check your own province before assuming anything about where you live. A brand visible in Buenos Aires may hold nothing in Córdoba, and a brand that holds nothing anywhere is outside every provincial protection.
The provincial frameworks were also built around sports betting and online casino rather than poker, which is why Argentine players have historically used international rooms at all.
If something goes wrong
The dispute clause is short. Any controversy or dispute between players, or between a player and the poker room, is to be settled by the poker room, whose decision is stated to be final and binding in all respects, and disputes must be reported by email. No external regulator, ombudsman or alternative dispute resolution body is named, and no Argentine route exists in the document.
Two other clauses are worth a look. Chat is limited to English or Spanish — which at least means Spanish is supported. And commercial or professional use of the software as part of a business of betting or wagering is strictly forbidden; the licence is for personal use only.
What this page will not print
No bonus amounts, no rake-race prize pools, no leaderboard numbers. Promotional terms are varied at the operator's discretion and a figure verified weeks ago can be wrong today. Read the current offer on the operator's own promotions page on the day you sign up, and read clause 6.1.2 alongside it, because the withdrawal condition applies to a bonus-driven deposit like any other.
We also do not use winnings as an illustration of what play is worth. Argentina's results — and they are remarkable for a country with no unified market — are on our player pages as sporting records, not as a forecast.

Frequently asked questions
Does YaPoker accept players from Argentina?
Its terms do not say either way. We read the end-user licence agreement in full on 14 October 2026: it contains no restricted-territory clause and no prohibited-country list, Argentina is not mentioned, and the only jurisdiction named anywhere in it is Curacao. The agreement states that you may not use the site if you are connecting from a jurisdiction from which such use is prohibited, leaving the judgement to the player. General information, not legal advice.
What is the 10% rake requirement?
Clause 6.1.2 states that to be eligible to request a withdrawal of any funds — including initial deposit balances, sportsbook winnings, casino payouts or horse racing returns — an account holder must generate cumulative poker rake or paid tournament entry fees equal to at least ten per cent of the total value of their cumulative deposits before withdrawal authorisation is granted. Clause 6.1.3 states that sportsbook, casino and racebook wagering does not count toward it.
Is YaPoker licensed in Argentina?
There is no Argentine national licence to hold — gambling is regulated province by province, with LOTBA licensing the City of Buenos Aires and IPLyC covering Buenos Aires Province. YaPoker's terms name no provincial licence, and no gaming regulator or licence number at all. Check the position in your own province.
Which network does YaPoker belong to?
The Winning Poker Network. Clause 6.1.1 names its rooms as Ya Poker, ACR Poker, Black Chip Poker, Americas Cardroom and TruePoker, and describes the network as operating primarily as a peer-to-peer poker platform.
Who operates the room, and under what law?
The agreement says the games are owned and operated by "Ya Poker" and that the licence to play them is governed under the laws of Curacao, with a sublicence granted to International Processing Services S.A. Payment processing is governed by the laws applicable to Yatahay, Limited. No registration number, registered address, regulator or licence number appears in the document.
Where would a dispute be heard?
By the poker room. The agreement states that any controversy or dispute between players, or between a player and the poker room, is settled by the poker room, whose decision is final and binding in all respects, and that disputes must be reported by email. No external body is named.
Is Spanish supported?
The conduct clause restricts chat to English or Spanish, so Spanish is permitted at the tables. The agreement itself is in English.
