Hoiana Casino

The casino inside Hoiana Resort & Golf on Vietnam's central coast, a short drive from Hoi An, and the largest gaming floor in the country by table count: the resort's own casino page advertises more than 140 tables and over 200 slot machines, plus Sky Casino, a quieter members' room on Level 19 of Hoiana Hotel & Suites.

For anyone looking for a poker game, the important detail is what those tables actually deal. The published table-game list names Three Card Poker, Hoiana Stud Poker and Texas Hold'em Bonus Poker — all of them dealer-banked casino games in which every player competes against the house, not against each other. The list carries no ring games, no rake, no tournament series and no poker room, so there is no player-versus-player poker on offer here at the time of checking.

Entry is restricted to foreign passport holders. Hoiana has not been admitted to Vietnam's pilot programme for domestic players: its chief executive said in September 2026 that the company is actively applying for a locals-gaming permit but expects the approval process to be long. The resort's own gaming-regulations page sets the minimum age for the gaming floor at 18, offers free and confidential self-exclusion and family-exclusion programmes, and reminds visitors that currency above USD 5,000 or VND 15 million must be declared to Vietnamese customs on entry or exit.
