The Vietnam Poker Tour's second Championship, and the step up that led to the larger 2026 edition.

VPT Championship II was played at Corona Resort & Casino on Phu Quoc from 31 October to 10 November 2025 with a series guarantee of 50 billion dong, roughly 1.92 million US dollars at the time.

Where it sits in the tour's history

The Vietnam Poker Tour had run a standalone Phu Quoc event from 5 to 13 April 2025 under a 35 billion dong guarantee. Championship II raised that to 50 billion, and VPT Championship III in May 2026 raised it again to 66 billion across ninety events. The tour has grown on the same island each time, which is not a coincidence: Corona is the Vietnamese casino with permanent authorisation to admit eligible local citizens, so it is the only venue in the country that can reliably supply a domestic field.
