Rivers Des Plaines Monday No-Limit Hold'em 2026

Rivers Casino Des Plaines runs a no-limit Hold'em tournament every Monday through 2026, from 5 January to 14 December. The buy-in is $250 for 15,000 chips, split by the casino into a $200 prize pool contribution, a $30 house fee and $20 towards a Tournament of Champions, with an optional $20 dealers add-on for another 15,000 chips paid in Rivers value chips before the first hand. Registration opens at the poker cage in cash and stays open — along with re-entry and late entry — until the start of level nine, roughly 2pm; play starts at 11am with twenty-minute levels. The top two finishers each Monday earn an entry to the Tournament of Champions on 21 December, and each extra entry earned there adds 5,000 chips. Tournament Directors Association rules apply, the prize pool is the money collected less a 20 per cent house fee, and players need to be 21 or older with photo ID and a Rush Rewards card. Anyone in the Illinois Gaming Board's voluntary self-exclusion programme may not enter.
