The 2023 bracelet
Parry won bracelet event #82 at the 54th World Series of Poker on 11 July 2023, a $3,000 Pot Limit Omaha 6-Handed tournament, for $480,122. It was not an isolated run: four weeks earlier at the same series he had finished 3rd in the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event for $134,156. Two deep finishes in PLO bracelet events in one summer, one of them a win.
An Omaha record, with one big Hold'em exception
His results read as a specialist's. Fifth in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha 8-Handed Championship at the 2016 WSOP for $185,337; a $2,200 PLO win at the Wynn Summer Classic in June 2024 for $106,645; three tournament victories in total, all in Omaha.
The exceptions are two large no-limit scores from the mid-2010s: 4th in the WPT Borgata Main Event in September 2017 for $240,965 — a televised WPT final table — and 3rd in the $10,000 Bellagio Cup IX in July 2013 for $159,468.
