ClubWPT Gold in the United States: sweepstakes poker in most states, no purchase necessary

Real-money online poker is legal in only a handful of US states, which is why ClubWPT Gold exists. How sweepstakes poker works

ClubWPT Gold runs under US sweepstakes law rather than gambling law. Gold Coins are a play currency with no cash value; you can buy packages of them or claim them free every day. Sweeps Coins come as a free bonus with Gold Coin purchases, from daily logins and promotions, or by sending a request in the post, and no purchase is ever necessary to obtain them. Games played with Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for cash prizes once you have met a small play-through requirement and verified your identity. The poker itself is the familiar mix: no-limit hold'em and pot-limit Omaha cash games, sit-and-gos and a daily tournament schedule with guaranteed prize pools in Sweeps Coins.

Which states are eligible

Sweepstakes platforms are available in most states but not all. At the time of writing ClubWPT Gold excludes a small group of states — our state pages show whether it is offered where you live, and the operator's terms are the final word, since the list changes as state laws evolve. Open ClubWPT Gold through the link on this page, register with your real name, address and date of birth (you must be 18, or 21 in a few states), claim the free welcome coins and start playing. Identity verification is required before any prize redemption. Redemptions are paid to a bank account or other approved method, usually within a few days.

The WPT connection

ClubWPT Gold is owned by the World Poker Tour and regularly offers Passport packages to live WPT events, including the WPT World Championship at the Wynn in Las Vegas, as sweepstakes prizes.
