A small room with small stakes, a short walk from the Convention Center - and one of the few Las Vegas poker rooms that is not open 24 hours.
Hours - check before you go
Monday to Friday the room opens at 12:00 and runs until the last game breaks; Saturday and Sunday it opens at 10:00. Most Las Vegas rooms never close, so this one catches visitors out. If you are planning an early or a very late session, call the room first on (702) 732-5223.
The games
Seven tables, nine seats each. The daily line-up is 2-4 limit Hold'em, 3-6 limit Hold'em and 1-2 No Limit Hold'em - a soft, low-stakes menu rather than a room chasing big cash action. Tournaments run every day, and the room will arrange a private tournament for a group on request.
Where it is
The Westgate is at 3000 Paradise Road, east of the Strip and next to the Las Vegas Convention Center, which makes it a convenient room during convention weeks. Players must be 21 or over with valid ID.
