Rivers Casino Des Plaines
3000 S. River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60018 · Des Plaines · Illinois
Rivers Casino Des Plaines, a few minutes from O'Hare, runs the poker room closest to downtown Chicago: 22 tables across 5,600 square feet, built as part of the property's 78,000 square foot expansion. The casino calls it Chicagoland's premier poker room and staffs it as a dedicated room rather than a corner of the table-games pit. Alongside cash games in Hold'em, Omaha and Stud it runs a weekly no-limit Hold'em tournament every Monday through 2026, and seating is handled by an online waitlist players can join before arriving. Illinois rules apply in the room: players must be 21 or over with government photo ID and a Rush Rewards card, and anyone enrolled in the Illinois Gaming Board's voluntary self-exclusion programme is barred from taking part.
