The Hippodrome on Leicester Square is central London's poker room. The Edwardian theatre reopened as a casino in July 2012 under Jimmy and Simon Thomas, and in January 2013 PokerStars made it the home of PokerStars LIVE London — the room moved from the fourth floor to the third in 2020, where it runs cash games and a daily tournament schedule seven days a week and hosts PokerStars-branded festivals through the year.

It is the most convenient poker in the capital: no membership, open around the clock, and two minutes from Leicester Square station. The games skew recreational at the lower stakes and tighten quickly at the £2/£5 tables.
