Talal Shakerchi is the London hedge-fund manager who became one of the most respected recreational players in the world's biggest games — and a serious winner in them. He won the $100,000 Triton Vietnam Main Event in March 2023 for $3,250,000 and finished second in the $262,500 Luxon Invitational at Triton London that August for $4,650,000, his biggest cash; in mixed games he was runner-up in the $50,000 Poker Players Championship at the 2023 WSOP. A regular at the Super High Roller Bowl since its early editions and an EPT London High Roller champion back in 2013, he is fourth on the UK all-time list with $20.2 million and known for giving much of his winnings to charity.
