The tournament venue in central Taipei that the Asian Poker Tour uses for both of its Taiwanese festivals, run with the Chinese Texas Hold'em Poker Club. The APT describes it as a brand-new space at the Red Point Center, and calls it the busiest stop on its calendar: APT Taipei ran 22 April to 3 May 2026, and the APT Championship returns for 209 events over seventeen days from 13 to 29 November 2026.
Red Space is not a casino. Taiwan has no casino industry, and live poker there is played in club and event spaces of this kind. The practical difference for players is who may enter: the APT sets the minimum age at 18 and accepts valid local identification cards as well as foreign passports, so Taiwanese residents can play at home — which is not true of Korea's foreigner-only casinos.
Two house rules catch visitors out. Smoking is banned anywhere inside the venue or the building, and vapes and IQOS devices are illegal in Taiwan, so do not bring them.
