James Chen leads Taiwan's all-time money list with more than $11.6 million in live earnings. His signature result came at WSOP Europe 2019 in Rozvadov, where he won the €250,000 Super High Roller for $3,142,848 and a bracelet. Earlier that summer he finished second in the $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller at the WSOP in Las Vegas for just over $1 million, and in March 2024 he took fifth in the $150,000 8-Handed event at Triton Jeju for $1.25 million. Chen plays under the online handle ChipBurglar and is one of the most recognisable faces of Taiwan's fast-growing poker scene.
