Natural8 in New Zealand - licence, sign-up and what to check first

Natural8 is the room listed for New Zealand on this site. Here is what its own pages say about who operates it and under what licence, and how that fits the rules now being built in New Zealand.

Who actually runs it

Natural8.com is operated by Run Good N.V., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hume Tree Investments Limited, registered in the British Virgin Islands. The site states that it is licensed and regulated by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, under licence number ALSI-192407036-FI2. Payments are processed by MoneyMatrix Ltd, a Malta-registered company, with some payments processed by Run Good N.V. itself.

That matters because an Anjouan licence is not a New Zealand licence, and it is not one of the European regimes - Malta, the UK, Denmark - that most players recognise. It sets a lower bar for dispute resolution and for what a regulator will do for you if something goes wrong. Know that before you deposit rather than after.

Age and sign-up

Natural8 sets its own minimum age at 18. New Zealand's land-based casinos are stricter - the floor at SkyCity Auckland and Christchurch Casino is 20 - so the two thresholds do not match.

Expect account verification. Natural8 publishes a KYC page and a withdrawal policy, and identity checks are normally triggered on withdrawal rather than deposit. Have a passport or driver's licence and a recent proof of address ready; the usual cause of a slow first withdrawal is a document that does not match the name on the account.

How this sits with New Zealand law

New Zealand's Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 has commenced and its regulations are published, but the Department of Internal Affairs says implementation is phased and is not expected to be fully operational until 2027. Licences will be awarded through expressions of interest, an auction and then assessment of applications. Until that runs, no online casino - Natural8 included - holds a New Zealand licence, because there are none to hold yet.

Whether Natural8 continues to accept New Zealand customers once the regime is live, and whether it seeks a licence, is not something either party has published. We have not read a restricted-territory list from Natural8, so we are not going to assert one. Check the terms in force when you sign up.
