WPT Prime Taiwan 2027 schedule published: 47 events in Taipei, TWD 30 million guaranteed

The tour's own schedule page now lists every event of WPT Prime Taiwan day by day, from the New Year Opener at midday on 2 January to a five-minute-level finale on the evening of 11 January.

The Championship Event is the centrepiece: four Day 1 flights between 7 and 9 January, each playing down to the money, Day 2 on 10 January and the final day on 11 January. It carries a TWD 30 million guarantee against a TWD 35,000 buy-in, with 40-minute levels and 40,000 starting chips. Fifteen numbered satellites feed it, several of them seat-guaranteed, from TWD 2,000 feeders up to TWD 8,200 milestone qualifiers.

Three other events carry published guarantees of TWD 2 million — the Championship Warm Up, the Mystery Bounty and the Mini Championship — and the branded WPT Prime Taiwan High Roller guarantees TWD 3 million for TWD 77,000. The New Year Opener and the Monster Stack are both guaranteed at TWD 500,000.

At the top end, a Super High Roller on 7 and 8 January takes TWD 120,000, the largest buy-in on the schedule, with 250,000 starting chips. Below it sit a TWD 66,000 survivor bounty high roller, turbo high rollers at TWD 55,000 and TWD 60,000, and single-day high rollers at TWD 44,000.

The schedule is not Hold'em only. Pot Limit Omaha appears five times, and there is a mixed triple draw rotation of A-5, 2-7 and Badugi, a R.O.S.E.T mixed-games event, Big O, Super Hold'em, a PLO double-board bomb-pot event and a two-player teams event. A Ladies Event and two separate Seniors 50+ events are also scheduled.

One practical note for anyone reading the figures: the tour's schedule renders every amount with a dollar sign but states on each event that the currency is New Taiwan dollars and that the values are not US dollars.
