Khoa Anh Ngo wins Triton's Golden Decade event in Jeju for $1.09 million
Vietnam's Khoa Anh Ngo took down the $25,000 Triton Golden Decade event at Triton Jeju II on 6 September 2026 for $1,090,000, his first seven-figure cash and the latest sign of how quickly Vietnamese players are climbing the high-roller ranks.
The second Triton Super High Roller Series stop of the year on Jeju Island has produced another breakthrough for Vietnamese poker. Khoa Anh Ngo of Hanoi won the $25,000 buy-in Triton Golden Decade event (Event #3) on 6 September for $1,090,000, according to his Hendon Mob record. It caps an eighteen-month run in which he also won the Red Dragon Prestige Super High Roller at the Jeju Poker Festival in November 2025 and the $10,000 7-Handed event at Triton One Jeju in March 2026 for $612,000. He now sits second on Vietnam's all-time money list with about $4.2 million, behind only Nguyen Le, the 2025 WSOP $50,000 High Roller champion, and is ranked inside the top 40 of the Global Poker Index.
The festival has been kind to the region's other leading names too: Hong Kong's Daniel Chi Tang, first on his territory's all-time list, cashed in the $30,000 8-Handed event on 8 September. For anyone in Vietnam, South Korea or Hong Kong wondering where the local scene is heading, Jeju is the answer: Triton's twice-yearly visits have turned the Korean island into Asia's high-roller capital, and its regional winners are increasingly local.
