Hikosaka's biggest cash came on 11 November 2016 — runner-up in the HK$9,900 Turbo Championship at the Asia Championship of Poker in Macau, for HK$211,800, recorded as $27,308. He had already finished 3rd in a HK$13,500 event at Macau Millions earlier that year for $16,124. Twenty-six cashes totalling $157,066 is the record of a committed amateur or a semi-professional travelling to where the games are, not a touring high roller.
Why none of it happened in Japan
Japanese law does not permit playing poker for money, and the domestic scene runs on free-play and amateur formats rather than cash games or real-money tournaments. Japanese players who want to play for money travel — Macau, South Korea and increasingly the European and Las Vegas series. That is the whole explanation for the shape of Hikosaka's record, and for every other Japanese name on the all-time money list.

What is his best result?
Second place in the HK$9,900 Turbo Championship at the 2016 Asia Championship of Poker in Macau, worth about $27,308. He also took 3rd in a HK$13,500 event at Macau Millions in January 2016.
