Andy Black
Dublin, Ireland
Andy Black is the elder statesman of Irish poker and the country's all-time money leader. The Dubliner's defining moment came at the 2005 WSOP Main Event, where he led the field for long stretches and finished fifth for $1,750,000, a result that made him a household name in Ireland during the poker boom. He followed it with third place in the 2007 Aussie Millions Main Event, a final table at the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo the same year and victory in the 2008 Premier League Poker in London. Known for his aggressive style and for stepping away from the game for years at a time, he has more than $5.2 million in live earnings.
