Is GGPoker legal in Ireland?

Yes, in the sense that matters: it has never been an offence for a person in Ireland to play poker online, and gambling winnings are tax-free for players. On the operator side Ireland is moving from an old patchwork of laws to the Gambling Regulation Act 2024, which created the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) and is introducing a licensing system for online operators in stages. Until the new licences are in force, remote operators serve Ireland under the existing framework.
