Is GGPoker legal in Indonesia?
No. Gambling of any kind is a criminal offence under Indonesia's Penal Code, and online gambling is additionally an offence under the ITE Law. There is no exemption for poker as a game of skill and no licensing route. Since 2023 the authorities have run sustained campaigns against online gambling that have included arrests of players, blocking of tens of thousands of domains and freezing of bank and e-wallet accounts used for gambling deposits.
