Borgata Poker Room
Atlantic City · New Jersey
The poker room at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, and the busiest tournament room on the American East Coast. Borgata's own poker page lists Hold'em, Stud and Omaha among its spreads, runs a progressive bad beat jackpot it says resets at a quarter of a million dollars, and pays high hands at fixed intervals through the day.
The tournament calendar is the signature: daily events Sunday to Wednesday in the $85 to $250 range, a quarterly one-day $400 event carrying a $100,000 guarantee, and the Borgata Poker Open series, whose Fall edition the room dates 3 to 17 November 2026. The room advertised more than $2.3 million in guarantees across October 2026 alone, led by the $600 Lions of the East at $2,000,000 guaranteed (13 to 18 October) and the $350 Pure Grind Series Black Chip Bounty Edition at $200,000 guaranteed over eight flights (21 to 25 October).
Entry is 21 and over, registration is on-site at the poker registration area, and an MGM Rewards card is required to enter a tournament. The room notes that New Jersey law takes three per cent off the prize pool for dealer tips.
