WSOP Poker Room at Horseshoe Baltimore
1525 Russell Street, Baltimore, Maryland · Baltimore · Maryland
Maryland's largest dedicated poker room: 23 tables, branded as a WSOP Poker Room, inside Horseshoe Baltimore on Russell Street just south of the city centre. Horseshoe opened in August 2014 as the fifth of Maryland's six licensed casinos, and the poker room is the state's main tournament venue.
The room spreads four games by its own account — Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Five Card Omaha and Seven Card Stud — which makes it unusually broad for a US casino room outside Las Vegas, where Stud and the Omaha variants have largely disappeared from live rotation. It runs daily tournaments and hosts satellites into the WSOP.
Separately from the poker room, the casino floor carries more than 150 video poker machines, and a high-limit area that opens Fridays and Saturdays from 18:00 to midnight. Video poker is a machine game against a paytable, not poker against other players — worth saying plainly, because the two sit a few steps apart on the same floor.
All times and game availability are subject to change; the room's own page is the place to check a schedule before travelling.
