Limit Triple Draw — A-5, 2-7, Badugi (Big Poker Oktober 2026)
14 Oct 2026 · The Bicycle Hotel & Casino (Parkwest Bicycle Casino), California
Three draw variants in one tournament: A-5 lowball, deuce-to-seven lowball and Badugi, played at fixed limits for a $400 entry at noon on 14 October 2026.
The three games
**A-5 triple draw** counts the ace as low and ignores straights and flushes, so the best hand is five-four-three-two-ace. **2-7 triple draw** counts the ace as high and does not ignore straights and flushes, making seven-five-four-three-two the nuts. **Badugi** uses four cards and requires four different suits as well as four different ranks — the perfect hand is a four-three-two-ace rainbow. Each gives three drawing rounds, which is where the name comes from and where most of the money is lost.
Why the rotation is the point
Players who know one lowball game well often misapply its hand rankings to the next, and a rotation punishes that immediately. It is also a format California almost never spreads as a tournament: this event and Day 1C of the Mixed Game Championship on 23 October are the only two scheduled instances in the series.
The buy-in, start time, date and the games in rotation come from the room's own published structures page, read on 14 October 2026, and can change. Please gamble responsibly.
