Live poker tournaments in Poland: the Polish Poker Series calendar

Poland has no casino cardroom circuit in the sense that Germany or Britain does. Almost all of the country's published live poker is the Polish Poker Series, a league and freeroll circuit running most evenings across 26 cities in pubs, billiard halls and restaurants. Verified against the circuit's own schedule on 14 October 2026: events are published from 14 October through to Boxing Day, and the season's finals fall between 15 October and 17 November.

The season finals

The league seasons do not end together. Zielona Góra closes first, on Thursday 15 October 2026, eleven days ahead of anyone else. The main cluster then runs from Monday 26 October to Wednesday 4 November: Wrocław's Monday VIP league on the 26th, Bytom's Mistrzowska Liga PPC on the 27th, Kielce and the Wrocław KLASYK season on the 28th, and Szczecin, Bielsko-Biała and Siedlce all on Thursday the 29th — the busiest night of the Polish poker year, with three finals running at once. Łódź is the only city to close two seasons back to back, on 3 and 4 November. Liga Retro in Wrocław finishes the year late, on 17 November.

Wrocław's Cards Restaurant hosts three of the nine finals, which makes it the circuit's most important single room.

Sopot is where the money is

One stop runs events at a level above league night. The Lucky-River Club in Sopot holds a high roller roughly monthly — 24 October, 28 November and 26 December 2026, each on a Saturday at 17:00 — with a dedicated satellite at 19:00 the Friday before. On the Fridays in between it runs a Specjal DEEP at 19:00, which is the most reliably scheduled paid tournament anywhere on the Polish calendar.

Bytom is the nearest thing to a second hub: a deep stack turbo on 23 October, its own high roller on the 24th, and Thursday qualifiers into the Polish Poker Championship through the month.

How to read the schedule, and what it does not tell you

This matters if you are planning a trip. The circuit's schedule names events like "HIGH ROLLER 700" and "Specjal DEEP 250", and it is natural to read those numbers as zloty buy-ins. The page never labels them as buy-ins and never names a currency. In the context of the calendar as a whole they almost certainly are entry fees, and we describe them that way on each event page — as the figure the organiser attaches to the event, not as a confirmed price. Before travelling for one, ring the venue.

The same caution applies to venues. The schedule names only a handful outright — the Cards Restaurant in Wrocław, The White Rabbit in Szczecin, the Lucky-River Club in Sopot — and hides the rest behind shortened map links. Where we could not read a venue from the page, our event records say so rather than guessing.

And a fixture named like a weekly is not always one. Bytom's Thursday satellite publishes exactly three dates; the Wrocław dealer deep stack is posted one date at a time. We record the dates the schedule actually shows.

Why it works this way

Poland's gambling law reserves casino gaming to licensed casino operators, and the country's licensed casinos do not publish a player-versus-player poker offer the way their German or Austrian equivalents do. The Polish Poker Series operates as club and league play, which is how a live scene exists at all. This is general information rather than legal advice — if you are unsure what you may play or organise in Poland, check the current rules yourself.

All dates above come from the circuit's own schedule, read on 14 October 2026, and a league calendar changes. Each event page carries its own read date.
