Thon Congress Gardermoen is a conference centre beside Oslo Airport, and for one week a year it is the largest poker room in Norway.

It is not a casino and it has no standing poker offer. There is no permanent card room here, no cash games and nothing to walk in for on an ordinary day. What the address is worth knowing for is the Norgesmesterskap i poker — the autumn Norwegian championship organised by Gynkreftforeningen, Blodkreftforeningen and Norges Døveforbund with Adlers Gate AS — which ran its 2026 edition here, with thirteen title events from the Open Nordic Championship on 26 September to the Main Event final on 4 October.

That is the shape of live poker in Norway generally: no commercial rooms, and tournament play that happens in hired halls under a charity structure. The organisers have announced 2 to 10 October 2027 for the next edition but have not yet said where it will be held, so this address is not confirmed for 2027.
