Norwegian law permits one national championship in tournament poker per year, which pre-approved nationwide non-profit organisations may apply to host. For 2026–2030 the permit is held by Gynkreftforeningen, Norges Døveforbund and Blodkreftforeningen.
Is there a cap on what you can win?
Yes. The permit limits the main event to 5,000 entrants, caps a player's loss at ₹20,000 and caps the first prize at ₹2 million.
