Marcel Lüske, 'The Flying Dutchman', is the godfather of Dutch poker: an Amsterdam professional famous for his suits, his upside-down sunglasses and for singing at the table long before poker was on television. He finished tenth in the 2004 WSOP Main Event for $373,000 and 23rd in 2017, won back-to-back events at the Five-Star World Poker Classic at the Bellagio in 2005 and 2006, was runner-up in the partypoker MILLIONS Germany High Roller in 2018 and was named European Player of the Year in the early 2000s. He has more than $5.3 million in live earnings, seventh on the Dutch all-time list, and mentored a generation of Amsterdam players.
