WPT puts its whole December card at the Wynn — World Championship starts 13 December

The World Poker Tour's own event schedule, read on 24 September 2026, lists its entire December programme at a single address. The $1,100 WPT Prime Championship opens the block at Wynn Las Vegas on 5 December, a $400 special event billed as the ClubWPT Gold Super Gold Million follows on 10 December, and the tour's flagship $10,400 World Championship starts on 13 December — the same day as the $1,100 WPT Ladies Championship in the same venue.

That consolidation is the story. In previous seasons the WPT's December was split between Las Vegas properties, with the Five Diamond at Bellagio as a fixture of the month; the tour's schedule page currently carries no Five Diamond listing at all for December 2026.

A caution on what is and is not published. WPT's schedule gives a start date, a venue and a buy-in for each event and nothing else — no end dates, no guarantees and no flight structures. Anyone planning a trip around the Championship should treat the 13 December date as the start of a multi-day event whose finish has not been announced, and should check the tour's page again closer to the time.

The rest of the autumn card, as listed: WPT Australia Championship at The Star Sydney from 24 September, WPT Prime Lodge Championship near Austin from 8 October, WPT Prime Cyprus Championship at the Chamada Prestige from 15 October, WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star in San Jose from 23 October, and on 5 November both WPT Seoul at Inspire and the WPT Venetian Fall Championship. The tour then moves to NagaWorld in Phnom Penh in January 2027.
