Irish Poker Tour's 2026/27 calendar runs to thirteen festivals, with Killarney next week and Glasgow its only trip abroad
Read off the Irish Poker Tour's own festival pages on 6 October 2026: thirteen festivals remain on the 2026/27 calendar, from the EUR 750,000-guaranteed Killarney Festival starting 13 October to The Monster over the May 2027 bank holiday. The Glasgow Poker Festival in early November, with a GBP 350,000 guarantee at the Alea Casino, is the tour's only stop outside Ireland.
Ireland's domestic circuit has quietly become one of the denser national calendars in Europe, and it is built almost entirely on buy-ins of EUR 200 or less. Checking all thirteen of the Irish Poker Tour's upcoming festival pages on 6 October 2026, the pattern is consistent: a EUR 170 plus EUR 30 entry, a 30,000 starting stack, two re-entries, and a festival guarantee in six figures.
The season's two biggest stops come within a month of each other. The Killarney Festival opens at the Gleneagle Arena on 13 October with a festival guarantee above EUR 750,000, the largest figure anywhere on the tour's calendar. Three weeks later the tour crosses to Scotland for the Glasgow Poker Festival at the Alea Casino, 3 to 8 November, guaranteed above GBP 350,000 — its only stop outside Ireland, and one that actually begins the evening before its advertised start date with a Mystery Bounty flight on Monday 2 November.
After that the calendar runs through the Dublin and Galway winter festivals, a single-day EUR 40,000-guaranteed event at Portlaoise between Christmas and New Year, and the IPT Final — which carries the 2026 name but is played from 1 to 4 January 2027. Spring brings the Limerick Treaty Festival, Donegal, the sixth Siege of Clonmel, a Dublin Spring Festival headlined by a EUR 150,000 guarantee for a EUR 200 buy-in, the Limerick EUR 60K Weekend, and The Monster from 29 April to 3 May 2027.
Two details worth knowing before entering. The tour withholds 3 per cent of every prize pool for staff and expenses and a further 1 per cent for its season leaderboard, so the advertised guarantee is not quite what reaches the payout table. And payouts normally reach the top 10 per cent of the field, with the tournament director free to set anything between 8 and 12 per cent, calculated across the whole field rather than an individual starting flight.
One source caution: the tour's Siege of Clonmel VI page gives the festival dates as 26 to 28 February 2027 in its header but shows a schedule labelled Friday 5 February — which is the Donegal Winter Festival's opening day. Treat the header dates as the festival and check with the organisers before booking travel.
