GUKPT Grand Final 2026: a GBP 500,000 Main Event, a second main event in disguise, and a festival that is two days longer than advertised
Grosvenor has published the full schedule for the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour's closing stop of 2026, at The Victoria in London. The Main Event guarantees GBP 500,000 for GBP 2,000 all in — double the guarantee of the Blackpool leg three weeks earlier and the largest on the 2026 GUKPT calendar. Reading the grid turns up two things the headline dates hide: event #1, the GUKPT Midi, carries the same GBP 1,250 buy-in and GBP 250,000 guarantee that bought Blackpool's Main Event, so the Grand Final is effectively a festival with two main events; and the week starts a day before and ends two days after the span usually quoted.
The Grand Final runs at The Victoria in London, the venue Grosvenor names on its own tour page. Live play occupies 19 to 29 November 2026, but the published grid opens on Wednesday 18 November with an invitee-only Champion of Champions Live Stream Final guaranteeing GBP 20,000, and closes on Tuesday 1 December with the second day of an online closer. The festival as scheduled therefore runs 18 November to 1 December.
Two main events, one of them called something else
Event #6 is the Main Event: GBP 1,800 plus GBP 200, GBP 500,000 guaranteed, three starting flights from Thursday 26 November with a turbo flight at 9pm on the Friday, Day 2 on the Saturday and the final day on Sunday 29 November. Players start with 30,000 chips on a 60-minute clock, the slowest structure of the week, and registration runs to the start of Day 2.
Event #1 is billed as the GUKPT Midi, which undersells it. At GBP 1,100 plus GBP 150 for a GBP 250,000 guarantee it is the exact buy-in and the exact guarantee of the Main Event at the Blackpool leg that precedes it. It opens the week on Thursday 19 November with four starting flights, and a detail worth catching before you plan a trip around it: Grosvenor's grid labels two different flights Day 1C — a turbo at 9pm on Friday 20 November and a hyper at 11am on Saturday 21 November, each on its own clock.
Everything scales up from Blackpool
Set the two legs side by side and the Grand Final is a step up at every level. The Main Event guarantee doubles from GBP 250,000 to GBP 500,000. The no-limit high roller goes from GBP 1,500 and GBP 100,000 guaranteed to GBP 2,300 plus GBP 200 and GBP 150,000 — making event #5 the most expensive tournament of the GUKPT's 2026 season, ahead of its own Main Event. The Mini Main rises from GBP 100,000 to GBP 150,000 guaranteed for GBP 340 all in. Even the side events double: the Pot Limit Omaha high roller carries GBP 50,000 against Blackpool's GBP 25,000 on the same GBP 1,000 buy-in, and the four-card PLO GBP 20,000 against GBP 10,000.
The Mini Main also quietly fixes an oddity. Blackpool's Mini Main grid runs 1A, 1B, 1C and then jumps to a turbo labelled 1E, with no Day 1D printed anywhere. The Grand Final's prints a Day 1D as its turbo flight, in the normal place.
The cheap end, and a thirteenth Blackpool event
For GBP 200 the Deepstack (#7) hands out 50,000 chips and keeps registration open to the end of level nine, the latest cut-off on the schedule. Target cashout satellites into the Main Event run on most evenings of Grand Final week at GBP 200 plus GBP 20, several of them guaranteeing ten seats, with GBP 250 plus GBP 20 turbos feeding the high roller. Grosvenor's online feeder satellites start at GBP 1 and pay out in live event credit rather than a seat; the credit can be used as full or part payment towards any GUKPT buy-in at the casino cash desk, and Grosvenor states it does not expire.
Re-reading the Blackpool grid on the same page turned up one more correction. That leg is widely quoted, including in Grosvenor's own banner, as 30 October to 8 November. The schedule carries a thirteenth numbered event after the live Closer: an Online Closer at GBP 100 plus GBP 10 guaranteeing GBP 15,000, played over two evenings on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 November. Blackpool has thirteen numbered events, not twelve, and runs to 10 November.
All figures above were read from Grosvenor's own GUKPT tour page on 7 October 2026, and every weekday printed on both grids was checked against the 2026 calendar before publication.
