Croatia's all-time money list: one WSOP Main Event run still outweighs every other career

Croatia has 1,012 players with recorded live tournament results, and the shape of the list is unusual: Matija Dobric's single fifth place in the 2022 WSOP Main Event, worth $2,250,000, is larger than the entire career earnings of any other Croatian player. Below the top two the country's depth sits in volume rather than in big scores — Mladen Stojanovic has 105 recorded cashes for roughly $373,000.

The Hendon Mob's Croatian all-time money list now runs to 1,012 ranked players, and poker-in.com has published profiles for the top twelve.

Matija Dobric leads it with just under $2.59 million. What makes the Croatian list unusual is how concentrated that figure is: $2,250,000 of it came from one tournament, fifth place in the 2022 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas. That single result is worth more than the whole recorded career of every other Croatian player — the next-highest career total belongs to Ivan Zufic at a little over $1.21 million. Dobric, born in Virovitica and resident in Slatina, was back in the Las Vegas summer this year, cashing the 2026 WSOP Main Event in 1,344th place for $15,000.

Zufic's own best result came on the American high-roller circuit rather than in Europe: runner-up in a $25,000 event at the 2021 PokerGO Tour U.S. Poker Open for $345,000.

Boris Kuzmanovic is the third Croatian past a million dollars, at just over $1.12 million. After that the list drops quickly — fourth place is under $800,000 and tenth is around $261,000 — and the character of the country's tournament scene changes. Croatia's depth is in volume: Mladen Stojanovic has 105 recorded cashes, more than any other Croatian, for about $373,000 in total, and Andro Scarpa has 73 cashes for roughly $557,000. Those are the profiles of players grinding mid-stakes fields across the region, not chasing single scores.

All figures are as recorded by The Hendon Mob on 4 October 2026 and are cumulative career totals, not annual earnings.
