Rabbit hunt

Asking the dealer to reveal the cards that would have come if the hand had continued after everyone folded. Most cardrooms forbid it; some allow it on request, and a few online rooms sell it as a paid feature.

Frequently asked questions

What is rabbit hunting in poker?

Asking the dealer to deal out the rest of the board after the hand is over, to see whether your folded draw would have got there. It satisfies curiosity and changes nothing.

Is rabbit hunting allowed?

Most card rooms and tournaments do not allow it, because it slows the game and can reveal information about folded hands. Some cash games permit it informally when the table agrees, and several online sites offer it as a paid or optional feature.

Why do players dislike it?

Besides the delay, the information can affect how the table reads future hands, and it gives the folding player something they did not earn. Dealers generally just decline and deal the next hand.
