The Hendon Mob

The database of live tournament results, named after four London players from Hendon who founded it in the early 2000s. Its all-time money lists — global and per country — are the standard reference for a player's live earnings, which is why profiles on this site cite it.

Frequently asked questions

What is The Hendon Mob?

The game's largest public database of live tournament results. Originally the nickname of a group of four British players, the name now refers to the database, which records cashes, venues and all-time money rankings by player and by country.

What does it not include?

Online results, cash-game play, and the cost side of a career — buy-ins, re-entries, staking arrangements and markup. A player's listed earnings are gross cashes, so a large total can sit alongside a losing career.

Why are its country rankings useful anyway?

Because they are the only consistent public record of who has achieved what in live tournaments in a given country, which is why we use them — one page at a time and always with the link — as the starting point for our player pages.
