Broadway
Also: broadway straight, broadway cards
The ace-high straight, A-K-Q-J-10, and by extension any of the five cards from ten to ace ('broadway cards'). Hands like K-Q and Q-J are called 'broadway hands'.
Example. Holding K-J on an A-Q-10 board gives you broadway.
Broadway is the nut straight and cannot be beaten by any other straight. The term also describes the type of hand: two broadway cards are strong in short-handed games because they make top pair with a good kicker and draw to the highest straights.
