At the end of a tournament day, surviving players 'bag' their chips in a sealed bag with their name and chip count written on it, to be brought back for the next day of play. Multi-flight events often have several Day 1s that all feed into one Day 2.

Example. She bagged 240,000 chips at the end of Day 1B, good for third in chips.
