Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana

Hard Rock Punta Cana is the Dominican Republic's busiest tournament address. It deals poker year-round in a dedicated room and uses its convention centre for festivals that would not fit on a casino floor — which is why both the Suprema Poker Tour and, from January 2027, WSOP are booking it.

The room itself

The casino covers about 45,000 square feet with more than 400 machines and a table-games pit, and poker has its own room inside it rather than being wheeled out for events. What is not published is the detail players actually ask for: how many poker tables, which cash stakes run, and what hours the room keeps. We have not found those stated anywhere we can cite, so we do not state them.

December 2026: Suprema Poker Tour, stage 4

From 2 to 6 December the Suprema Poker Tour's fourth 2026 stage runs 23 tournaments. The Main Event 100K costs USD 500 and guarantees USD 100,000, with six Day 1 flights — 1A through 1F, the last of them a hyper on the Saturday morning — and a qualifiers-only Day 2 that evening. The headline side event is a USD 1,000 Championship High Roller on the Thursday; there is also a USD 500 Omaha 5 Mystery Bounty, a USD 500 Omaha K.O., a USD 600 6-Max K.O. billed as The Last Dance, a USD 100 Ladies Edition and satellites from USD 50.

January 2027: WSOP Super Circuit LATAM

WSOP has announced a Super Circuit LATAM stop here from 24 January to 2 February 2027. At the time of writing the schedule, buy-ins and guarantees have not been released — only the dates and the venue. We will add the events when WSOP publishes them rather than estimate them.

Practical notes

Punta Cana airport is close by, which is most of why the resort works as a festival venue. Minimum age is 18. Poker is a game of skill played for entertainment, not a way to fund a holiday — decide what the trip is worth to you before you buy in.
