Cardroom Esbjerg

IF 92 Klubhus, Sportsvej 15, 6705 Esbjerg · Esbjerg · Denmark

Cardroom Esbjerg holds a Danish public poker tournament licence from Spillemyndigheden and plays at the IF 92 clubhouse on Sportsvej 15 in Esbjerg. The address is worth noting as a feature of the Danish scene rather than an oddity: several of the country's nine licensed poker clubs are based in sports clubhouses and community halls rather than casinos, which is what a licence category built for public tournaments rather than for casino floors produces. The register does not carry the club's schedule or buy-ins, and we have not yet read its own information for those.

None of our partner operators currently accepts players from Denmark. We do not list any online poker room here. Denmark licenses online poker through Spillemyndigheden, and winnings from a licensed operator are tax-free for the player. GGPoker names Denmark as a Restricted Jurisdiction in its own terms, so we no longer list it here. The minimum age is 18. This is general information, not legal advice.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cardroom Esbjerg a casino?

No. It holds a public poker tournament licence from Spillemyndigheden and plays at a sports clubhouse, which is a different permit from a Danish casino licence.
