Aalborg Poker Room holds a Danish licence for public poker tournaments — 'offentlig pokerturnering' — from Spillemyndigheden, at Hjulmagervej 14 in Aalborg. That licence category matters more here than it would elsewhere: Denmark permits public poker tournaments as a class of its own, separate from its casino licences, so the permit itself is evidence that tournaments are played between players rather than against the house.
