Fedor Holz is Germany's all-time leading tournament earner and, for a stretch in 2016, the most feared high-roller player in the world. Born in Saarbrücken in 1993, he was ranked the best online tournament player on the planet two years running under the alias CrownUpGuy before he had turned 22, then took the same run to the live tables.
The 2016 summer is the one people remember: a $4.98 million win in the WSOP $111,111 High Roller for One Drop, a $3.46 million Triton title, and a stream of high-roller final tables that no one has matched since. Two years later he added a $6 million score in the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop, still his largest cash. He holds two WSOP bracelets.
Holz announced a step back from full-time play early and has since built a coaching and mindset business, but he still turns up for the biggest buy-ins. Since 2020 he has been a GGPoker ambassador and lives in Vienna.
