Gran Mareiro Hotel, Fortaleza
Rua Oswaldo Araújo, 100 - Praia do Futuro, Fortaleza - CE, 60177-325, Brazil · Fortaleza · Brazil
A beachfront hotel on Praia do Futuro in eastern Fortaleza, listed among the city's two poker venues in PokerDiscover's Brazilian directory. It is a hotel rather than a card room: Brazil licenses no casinos, and hotels appear in these listings because festivals and one-off tournaments hire their function space. The entry gives the address and the hotel's main telephone number and says nothing about poker itself — no room, no tables, no stakes, no calendar — so treat it as a possible event venue whose poker offer is unconfirmed rather than as a club.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Gran Mareiro run poker?
We cannot confirm it. The hotel appears in a poker venue directory, but the listing describes no poker room, tables or schedule. Hotels of this kind usually appear because a festival has used their function space. Ask the hotel directly.
Are there casinos in Brazilian beach resorts?
No. Brazil does not license casino gambling, so resort casinos do not exist there; live poker is played in private members' clubs and at travelling festivals as a game of skill. This is general information, not legal advice. For players aged 18 and over only. Play responsibly.
